How to root XOLO Q1100 Easily

The Xolo Q1100 is a mid-range Android smartphone released by Xolo back in January this year. The device features a 5 inches display powered by a 1.4 GHz quad-core Snapdragon 400 chipset and 1GB RAM. Similarly it also comes with 8GB internal storage, and runs on the Android 4.3 OS. Thanks to ANDY from xda-developers, we’re now able to root Xolo Q1100 rather easily using a one-click rooting script. In this tutorial, I will be guiding you guys on how to root Xolo Q1100 in less than an hour.

Disclaimer : During the process of rooting, there is always a risk for you to brick your Android device. So if you choose to root your device, you are doing it at your own risk! Your device warranty will also be voided after rooting.

Prerequisites before you begin rooting Xolo Q1100..

1). Download the Q1100_ROOTBOOT.rar.

2) Install the necessary USB driver on your PC.

3) Make sure you have fully charged your device.

4) Make sure you have enabled USB debugging on your device.

Back up the Xolo Q1100 smartphone.

Follow the steps below on how to root Xolo Q1100

1) Connect the Xolo Q1100 to your PC.

2) Extract the Q1100_ROOTBOOT.rar to a folder on your desktop.

3) Inside the extracted folder, run the rootboot.bat by double-clicking on it.
Select the first option.

It’ll take a moment to root your device.
Once done, your device will automatically reboot.

Congratulation! You’ve just rooted Xolo Q1100!

Requirement For a Successfully Operation:-

1)  Aroma File Manager 1.80  which you can download from here

2)  Your Locked android device either locked by pattern lock or password

3) A Memory card( the memory card of the android device)

You will be surprised that we don’t need a computer, that the awesome thing about this method of unlocking password and pattern locks.

To the main business proper, how to unlock the pattern lock or password, please follow the steps

Step 1

Once you have download the Aroma file manager, move it to the memory card and insert the memory card to the android device

Step 2

Open your stock recovery and different device has there own way of entering stock recovery, so I advise you Google it out along with your android device name. Once you have it, enter into stock recovery which is a black interface

Step 3

once you are there, use your volume + and volume – to scroll up and down and use the middle button to select

Now Mount and  storage>> Mount Everything>> Mount System>> Mount data>>Mount afs>>Mount Preload>>Mount SDcard>> Mount ExternalSD>> go back>> Install zip from SDcard>>Choose zip from external SDcard

Step 6

In the aroma file manager, go to Settings and Go to bottom n select “Automount all device on start ” which is the second to last option and then exit from aroma file manger.

Step 7

perform step 5 again and the Aroma file manager will update and open again

Step 8

go to the Data Folder>>>then System folder and find the gesture.key if it is password lock that locked your phone or password.key if it was a password lock and press the file for long and the option to delete the file will pop up and delete it

Step 9

Exit the aroma file manager and restart to the normal interface and when the device has finished restart you will still find the pattern lock or password there but you are to use any pattern lock or password and it will accept and your device is unlocked but note the pattern you use and password.

WhatsApp has this intelligent feature to automatically create a backup of your data everyday at 4 am system time and store it on your SD card. So , if your deleted history was less than 7 days old, all you have to do is remove and reinstall the app and click on "Restore" button to get all your data back.
Older Chats

Connect your device to your PC and navigate to the database folder of the SD card. The route is /sdcard/WhatsApp/Databases.

You will see many files saved with names like “msgstore-YYYY-MM-DD.1.db.crypt”. Here “YYYY-MM-DD” is the year, month and date respectively.

Locate the file named “msgstore.db.crypt” and rename it by simply adding something like "OLD" to the filename. You need to do this to backup the file for the reason you will see below.

Now, other files will also have a date following the name. Choose the file with the desired date (depending on how old is your chat you want to recover).

Name this file “msgstore.db.crypt”.Now get back to your android device.

Follow the method 1 of reinstalling and clicking on restore button. This will restore your old messages.

Besides, it's not the difficult for someone else to remove the Windows password. Of course, you could (and should) protect your most vital files with a third-party encryption tool.
Even so, I wouldn't remove my password. But if you're willing to take the risk, here's how:

In order to skip the logon screen, you must first open the Advanced User Accounts dialog box. How you get there depends on what version of Windows you're using:

Windows 7 & Vista: Click Start, type netplwiz, and press ENTER.

Windows XP: Click Start>Run, type control userpasswords2, and press ENTER.

Windows 8: Use the Search Charm to search for netplwiz. In the Apps section, click or tap netplwiz.

Once you're in the dialog box, make sure that your account--the one you boot into--is selected. Then uncheck Users must enter a user name and password.
When you click OK, you'll be asked to enter your password twice. Do so.

The next time you boot, Windows will load up on its own without asking for a password.
But you may still be asked for a password--not from Windows but from your hardware. You'll need to go to your setup screen to turn it off. Search the Web for BIOS password and your PC's make and model number. You'll probably find a fix.
